Converters

As a PVC converter, using recycled material into new products may help you reduce your operating costs and environmental impact, but it is also a powerful differentiator to market your products. In some EU Member States, the use of recycled content has become, or will become, a legal requirement for certain applications. Recovinyl certification is a straight-forward way to prove what you are doing in the marketplace.

Does it cost anything?

No. The cost of the Recovinyl Certification system is covered by the European PVC industry, so if your application to be certified is accepted, you will get all of the benefits without any costs to yourself. You will sign a service contract with Recovinyl and receive a yearly payment for a limited period of time. You will appear on the certified list of converters in the online Recovinyl database.

Will our business have to do anything?

The only thing you will have to do is to regularly supply statistics on the volumes of material you are using from accredited Recovinyl recyclers and external sources, and be willing for these to be verified occasionally by EUCertPlast auditors.

How do I sign up?

Complete the online application form (using the link below) and we will get in touch with you in due course to let you know if your business qualifies and to process your application. If you have any questions concerning the signup or the Recovinyl system, you can contact us by sending an email to info@recovinyl.com
